Graduated Trezevent High School

Graduated Bethel College

I began my life as a teacher in the Trezevant Special School District. After the systems merged to become West Carroll, I continued teaching for the West Carroll Special School District full time and retired in 2011.

During that time, I taught 2nd grade for 2o+ years.  I coached HS Softball and transfered to WCJSHS until my retirement.  I was granted an opportunity to return to WCP as librarian in 2016.  I LOVE MY JOB!

I was born in the Trezevant Hospital (several years ago) and have lived in Trezevant my whole life (except for a couple of years in college).  I am the daughter of Harvey (Nub) Cox and Fair Mae Akins Cox and sister of Lisa Cox Meals and Richard Carroll Cox.  David Bryant and I married in 1975 (still together), and we have two sons, Nick and Dustin.  They have families of their own:  Nick, Mandy, Elijah, and Callie; Dustin, Malyssa, and Haley

I currently serve as a alderperson for the Town of Trezevant, and I attend the Trezevant church of Christ.

Good family, good friends, good horses and dogs, and terrific grand kids have made me who I am.
